From NOC’s Hartford outpost, you ride to the Upper Pigeon River for nearly continuous Class II-IV rapids, including Lost Guide and Accelerator. NOC supplies the rafting gear, and guides such as Kaitlyn, Chelsea, Noah, and Catlin have helped first-timers feel at ease. Expect about 2.5 hours overall, with roughly 60 to 90 minutes on the water.

You’ll begin at NOC Pigeon Outpost with a safety video, gear up, and raft the mild Lower Pigeon River for about three and a half hours. Expect gentle rapids, mountain scenery, and one or two swim stops. The trip is offered in English, suits ages 3 and up, and ends with a short bus ride back to the outpost.
